One of the St. Louis region's foremost psychotherapists, Heather Raznick brings more than 15 years of clinical experience to her private practice. Currently, Ms. Raznick works with individuals struggling with a wide range of issues, including sexual dysfunction, personality disorders, stress and anxiety, and depression. Handling an overall caseload of more than 150 individuals, Heather Raznick sees more than 40 patients in her busy practice each week. As a leading figure in the field, she frequently appears on radio, television, and newspaper interviews.
Heather Raznick completed a self-initiated triple major in Psychology, Child Study, and Sociology as an undergraduate at Stephens College. She graduated with high honors before going on to complete her Master of Social Work at Washington University. Subsequently, she received additional training at the world-renowned Masters & Johnson Institute, where she studied clinical sex therapy under the tutelage of legendary sexologist Dr. William Masters.
Prior to launching her own practice, Heather Raznick served as a counselor and therapist for a number of medical clinics and treatment centers, including the Reality House, the Women’s Counseling Collective, and DePaul Hospital St. Vincent. In addition to her work with her private clients, she serves as a faculty member for St. John’s Mercy Medical Center, in which role she trains residents in gynecology, obstetrics, psychiatry, family practice, and internal medicine.
Heather Raznick stays up-to-date with industry trends and best practices through her membership in several professional organizations, including the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists, the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health, and the National Association of Social Workers. A certified sex therapist, Ms. Raznick also holds licenses and certifications from the Academy of Family Mediators and the State of Missouri Advisory Committee for Licensed Clinical Social Workers.
