Dr Christopher Nevant
Residents of North Carolina with bite and alignment problems have been seeking care from Dr. Chris Nevant’s orthodontics practice for over 15 years. Dr. Chris Nevant offers his patients the latest techniques available. Along with traditional metal braces, Dr. Chris Nevant treats patients using Herbst appliances, which correct bite and jaw alignment issues; and Damon braces, which are designed to minimize discomfort and shorten treatment time. Dr. Chris Nevant is well-versed in the tools and techniques of his trade because he makes time for ongoing study and education. He holds memberships in several professional associations and study groups including the American Association of Orthodontists, the North Carolina/South Carolina Damon Study Club, and the Western North Carolina Orthodontic Study Club. Dr. Chris Nevant has also served as the President of the Western Piedmont Dental Society and the Isothermal Dental Society.
Dr. Chris Nevant graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry and completed his orthodontics residency at Texas A&M Health Science Center Baylor College of Dentistry. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, he voluntarily pursues ongoing education and seeks rigorous expert review of his work. Dr. Chris Nevant’s staff is equally well educated. All of his assistants have worked with Nevant Orthodontics for many years. They are each registered assistants who stay abreast of advances in the field through seminars and classes.
When he is not caring for patients at one of his two offices, Dr. Chris Nevant enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. Dr. Chris Nevant also contributes to his community by coaching and supporting youth athletics.
