Amy Mattingly
As an undergraduate at Western Michigan University, Amy Mattingly honed skills that would assist her in her successful career in the insurance arena. Through a dual major in psychology and Spanish, she grew fluent in the language during a study abroad opportunity, a skill that would serve in her professional dealings with a variety of people. Today, Amy Mattingly wields nearly a decade of experience gained through a string of roles and belongs to professional groups including Women in Insurance & Financial Services.
In 2004, Amy Mattingly secured her first role in the industry as an Insurance Agent with Bankers Life and Casualty, a multifaceted firm offering services in Medicare supplements, long term care insurance plans, annuities, and prescription drugs. After more than a year in the role, she opted to build a client base of her own and acquired numerous loyal patrons over half a decade as an Independent Insurance Broker. Mattingly subsequently assumed her current position as an Insurance Broker with a Chicago area firm. Throughout her career, she received honorable mention from reputed firms including Shenandoah Life and Genworth Financial. Additionally, she received invitations to a number of competitive conferences designed to unite top-producing brokers.
